Mithi Gobindram Public School, Bhopal, observed Vigilance Awareness Week from 26 October to 1 November 2026, with enthusiastic participation from students and teachers. Based on the theme “Probity for Prosperity”, the observance highlighted the importance of honesty, integrity, transparency, accountability and ethical conduct in building a progressive nation.
The programme commenced with the Integrity Pledge during the morning assembly, wherein the Principal, Vice Principal, teachers and students pledged to uphold honesty, fairness and transparency and to reject corruption in all forms.
On 31 October 2026, the school celebrated National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India. His invaluable contribution to the unification of the nation inspired students to appreciate the significance of unity, harmony and collective responsibility.
Adding to the occasion, students of Class VIII presented an engaging skit on “Unity in Diversity”, conveying the message of national integration, equality, mutual respect and peaceful coexistence.
To further strengthen awareness, Slogan Writing and Cartoon Making Competitions were organised, providing students with a platform to creatively express their thoughts on combating corruption and promoting honesty, justice, ethical practices and responsible citizenship.
The combined observance reinforced the message that integrity and unity are the two essential pillars of nation-building. The programme concluded with a renewed commitment to practise honesty in everyday life, uphold national unity and contribute towards a responsible, harmonious and prosperous India.
