Inter-House Flower Rangoli Making Competition

Mithi Gobindram Public School organised an Inter-House Flower Rangoli Making Competition to nurture creativity, aesthetic sensibility and artistic expression among students.

The competition witnessed enthusiastic participation from all four houses, with each house represented by two teams, one each from Classes VII and VIII. The participants created beautiful and vibrant rangolis using colourful flowers and petals, showcasing their imagination, artistic skills and collaborative spirit.

The activity provided students with an opportunity to develop an aesthetic sense, an understanding of colour combinations, symmetry, balance and the art of arranging flowers and petals harmoniously. Through thoughtful selection of colours, patterns and floral elements, students learned how the placement of each petal contributes to the overall beauty and visual appeal of a design. The competition also encouraged patience, precision, coordination, teamwork and attention to detail.

Results of the Competition:

- First Position: Swami Dayanand House – Class VIII Team
- Second Position: Dr. Radhakrishnan House – Class VII Team
- Third Position: Dr. Radhakrishnan House – Class VIII Team

The school management congratulated the winners and appreciated all the participants for their enthusiasm, dedication and creative efforts. The competition served as a meaningful learning experience, demonstrating how art can enhance aesthetic appreciation, encourage innovation and transform simple natural materials into beautiful expressions of creativity.
