On 14th October, 2025, a Fire Safety Measures Drill, Demonstration, and Awareness Session was successfully conducted in the school premises with the objective of educating students and staff about fire prevention, emergency response, and the correct usage of fire safety equipment. The program was organized to enhance preparedness and to instill a sense of responsibility among students and teachers in case of fire-related emergencies.
The initiative aimed at creating awareness about fire hazards, preventive measures, and safety practices that can be adopted in day-to-day life. It also emphasized the importance of staying calm, alert, and organized during emergency situations. The program was conducted in two phases to ensure maximum participation and understanding.
First Phase: Fire Drill & Demonstration (Assembly Area – First Period)
During the first period, all students of Classes VI to VIII assembled in the designated Assembly Area to witness a live fire safety demonstration and drill. The drill was carefully organized to simulate real-life emergency situations and provide hands-on learning to students.
Teachers who had free periods during the first session were also present and actively participated in the demonstrations and fire drill exercises. Their involvement encouraged students to observe the procedures seriously and understand the importance of collective responsibility during emergencies.

The demonstration was interactive and engaging. Selected teachers and staff members were invited to practice handling the fire extinguisher under supervision, which made the session practical and informative. Students observed keenly and asked relevant questions, reflecting their interest and awareness.
The evacuation drill was conducted smoothly, and students followed the safety protocols in a disciplined and organized manner. The activity helped everyone understand the importance of preparedness and teamwork in emergency situations.
Second Phase: Awareness Session (School Auditorium – Second Period)
In the second period, a detailed awareness session was conducted in the school auditorium for Classes VI and VII. The session focused on theoretical knowledge and safety guidelines related to fire prevention and management.
The session was conducted by Mr. Shakti Tiwari, a government official with expertise in fire safety and emergency response management. His presence added authenticity and credibility to the program.
