As per the directives of the Government of India and the State Government, MITHI GOBINDRAM PUBLIC SCHOOL successfully observed *National Deworming Day on 6th October, 2026.
During the lunch break, Albendazole 400 mg tablets were distributed to all students of Classes I to XII by their respective class teachers under proper supervision and as per government guidelines.
The deworming initiative aims to protect children from intestinal worm infections and related health issues such as anaemia, malnutrition, and weakness. Students were briefed about the importance of personal hygiene and good health practices.
The programme was conducted smoothly with the active cooperation of all teaching and non-teaching staff. Students who were absent today will be administered the tablet on Mop-Up Day, 9th October 2026.
